Given that the UAE does not participate in the apostille convention, applicants need to undergo a specific apostille attestation process. This involves getting their documents certified by the foreign ministry in the country where they were issued, followed by attestation from the UAE Embassy in that country, and finally, verification by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) in the UAE.
